Frequently Asked Questions
Please find below some of the questions we get asked, and some information regarding the website and our products.
Why choose Cherry Products?
We manufacture all of our Attachments in the UK. We purpose build our attachments for the headstock and machine they fit onto, thus maximising crowd and dump potential. Some manufacturers will buy in preformed attachments, such as buckets, then weld/bolt brackets onto them; irrelevant of the angles that are needed. We build our attachments to last – they are over-engineered to ensure less downtime, and give you peace of mind that you have a quality built product.
Can I buy Direct?
We sell our wide range of Parts and Attachments through a Dealer Network System that ranges through the whole of the UK and Europe. If you would like to know who your local Dealer is, please contact us and we will be happy to give you their details. You can also find out who your local dealer is here.
What are despatch times?
We keep a huge range of replacement parts and brackets in stock, so if ordered before 12 noon, despatch will be same day, for next day delivery. On Attachments, our despatch times vary depending on the Agricultural season. It is probably best to call our Sales Office before ordering, and we can give you an accurate delivery date. If the Attachment is in stock, we can typically get it despatched the same day.
What is included?
With all of our Attachments, Brackets are included in the price. With Hydraulic Attachments, we also include the pipework (at a suitable length to suit your machine). All you will need to add is the hydraulic couplings to suit the machine that the attachment will be used on.
Do the prices on the website include VAT and Delivery?
Unfortunately No. We put our RRP on the website but exclude VAT and Delivery as these can vary.
Are the Weights and Dimensions of Attachments shown exact?
The weights and dimensions shown for each attachment can vary slightly from the ones shown on the website and in our price list. This is because we build all of the attachments specifically for the machine they fit onto. Therefore, the angles will differ slightly to maximise dump and crowd potential of each attachment.
This is also true for the videos and images on the website and on the price list. Although every step is taken to ensure they are correct and up to date, some images may vary from the current designs. This is for two reasons. 1. As the market changes, we are always looking to keep up to date with our designs, and while we try to update with new images all the time, we may occasionally show an old design. 2. As we build all of our attachments to order, often they will have special parts or be at a specification requested, this meaning the image may be slightly different from other models in production.
What colour will my order come in?
As standard, we paint all of our attachments in our trademark black and red livery. (Except for Man Platforms, which are galvanised and Snow Ploughs, which are in yellow). However, if you would like a special paint job, please don’t hesitate to ask us. We can always accommodate your paint requests with POAs.
What tine options are there?
For all of our forks, we offer three tine options. Kverneland style, 2 inch round and then the genuine Hardox Tines. All 3 have various benefits which our Sales office will be glad to discuss with you. Our Hardox Tines are produced at a genuine, certified Hardox Workshop. Hardox is a brand of SSAB.
How much warranty do your products carry?
All of our Attachments have a one year warranty. While we hope you won’t experience any problems with your Cherry Product we do note that if there is a problem we MUST be informed before any rectification work is carried out. If work is carried out before letting us know, the warranty claim will be rejected. This is because we may require some items to come back to us for approved rectification work.
